A three-year postdoctoral position funded by the EU Horizon 2020 Programme is available in the laboratory of Prof. Richard Marais to identify and validate novel therapeutic approaches for the treatment of metastatic uveal melanoma (UM).
The project aims to integrate knowledge gained from the study of in vitro and in vivo models of metastatic UM with patient derived genomic data and translate this to clinical benefit for UM patients.
The successful applicant should have a PhD in cell biology, biochemistry, or a relevant field. A background in melanoma, photobiology or use of in vivo cancer models is desirable but not required.
