Brachytherapy in Krakow celebrates it's 50th anniversary

Brachytherapy is a very effective local treatment method of intraocular tumors. Ophthalmological University Clinic in Krakow was the second center in the world that has applied cobalt plaques for retinoblastoma and uveal melanoma treatment in 1968.

The 50-year Jubilee book “Ocular Oncology”, describing the current methods of diagnosis and treatment of ocular tumors will be published in the beginning of the next year, both in Polish and English.
